The Lifestyle You Choose

As a resident of The Towne House, you may choose from a wide array of social, recreational, an educational opportunities. Local excursions to the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, the Performing Arts Theatre, the Art Museum, and other fine arts locations are frequently organized. Trips to regional historical sites and sporting events are also available. Guest speakers, travelogues, musical entertainment, lively social gatherings, and continuing education courses are also a regular part of the residents’ daily lifestyle.

If you prefer to spend your time pursuing quieter interests, you may choose to read one of the many books in The Towne House Library or complete a project in the Woodworking Shop. Other residents are always available for billiards, cards, or jigsaw puzzles in the Family Room. You also may enjoy casual conversation in the Coffee Shop or a friendly challenge on the putting green. Weekly worship services for individuals of all faiths are also offered in The Towne House Chapel.

The Resident Council and various resident committees are an extremely important part of life at The Towne House. Through their participation in these groups, residents have the opportunity to organize activities and provide input to the administration regarding various issues in the community.

The important thing to remember is that, at The Towne House, you choose the leisure activities that best suit your lifestyle.
